As a young, penniless man seeking his way in Paris in his studio “Bateau Lavoir”, he already experimented with graphic techniques which included aquatint and dry point engraving as well as woodcut, linocut and lithography. The collection of the Museum Kunstpalast’s Foundation in Düsseldorf disposes over a representative cross-section of Picasso’s graphic works from most periods of this all-round genius. (...)
