Der Neue Berliner Kunstverein ist Mitinitiator der Berlin Art Week. Aus Anlass der diesjährigen Berlin Art Week (17.-22.9.2013) findet im Rahmen der Ausstellung The Unanswered Question. _skele2 in Kooperation mit TANAS und HAU das Performance-Programm Schwanenegesang statt. Das Programm bringt internationale KünstlerInnen und MusikerInnen auf der Bühne des Hebbel am Ufer HAU1 zusammen. Die künstlerische Bandbreite reicht von klassischer Musik, Körper-, Sprech- und Gesangsperformance bis zur Publikumsintervention und multimedialer Kunst. Samstag, 21. September 2013, 14 Uhr "TANAS im Dialog" mit Marta Smoli_ska (Assistenzprofessorin Kunstgeschichte, Nicolaus Copernicus Universität, Toru_) Ort: TANAS - Projektraum für zeitgenössische türkische Kunst, Heidestraße 50, 10557 Berlin Marta Smoli_ska (*1975, lebt in Toru_ / Polen) ist Kunsthistorikerin, Kunstkritikerin und Kuratorin. Sie ist als Assistenzprofessorin für Moderne und Zeitgenössische Kunstgeschichte an der Nicolaus Copernicus Universität Toru_ tätig. Sie hat eine Vielzahl von Büchern und Schriften zur zeitgenössischen Kunst publiziert, bis 2010 war sie stellvertretende Chefredakteurin der Kunstzeitschrift artluk, herausgegeben vom Centre of Contemporary Art Znaki Czasu in Toru_. Marta Smoli_ska ist Mitglied der International Association of Art Critics, sie erhielt mehrfach ein Stipendium der Foundation of Polish Science. She works as Assistant Professor of Modern and Contemporary Art at Nicolaus Copernicus University in Toru_. She has published a large number of writings and books on contemporary art. Until 2010, she was deputy editor of the art magazine artluk, published by the Centre of Contemporary Art Znaki Czasu in Toru_. Marta Smoli_ska is a member of the International Association of Art Critics. Several times she received a scholarship from the Foundation of Polish Science. Admission free   Samstag, 5.10. 2013, 14 Uhr "TANAS im Dialog" mit Gabriele Knapstein (Kuratorin Hamburger Bahnhof, Berlin) Ort: TANAS - Projektraum für zeitgenössische türkische Kunst, Heidestraße 50, 10557 Berlin Dr. Gabriele Knapstein (*1963 in Freiburg / Breisgau, lebt in Berlin) ist Kuratorin und Kunsthistorikerin. Sie studierte Kunstgeschichte, Geschichte und Philosophie in Freiburg, Bochum und Berlin. Ihre Promotion George Brecht: Events. Über die Event-Partituren von George Brecht aus den Jahren 1959-63 erschien im Wiens Verlag, Berlin 1999. Gabriele Knapstein war als Kuratorin an der Umsetzung zahlreicher Ausstellungen beteiligt. Seit 1999 ist sie am Hamburger Bahnhof in Berlin tätig, wo sie u. a. mit Ingrid Buschmann und Matthias Osterwold die Konzertreihe "Musikwerke Bildender Künstler" konzipiert und realisiert. About the event scores of George Brecht from 1959-63 was published by Wiens Verlag, Berlin in 1999. Gabriele Knapstein participated as a curator in the implementation of numerous exhibitions.
